David is an eminent leadership coach who journeys with business owners, board members, C-Suite executives, and leadership teams across multiple sectors and geographies. The distinctive edge of his coaching is applying behavioural science insights to enabling leadership effectiveness while staying deeply attuned to his clients.
David’s 30-year career spans multiple sectors and across various leadership roles. Following an early career in policing, David headed the Organization Effectiveness capability in Singapore’s Economic Development Board, working with the Chairman, and Managing Director’s office on the organization’s transformation. He then went on build the Global Leadership Fellows Program at the World Economic Forum (WEF), which is a vehicle to identify and build top management talents for the WEF. Thereafter he joined the CIMB Group of companies to assess the bench strength of their management talent and worked with the Board to acquire and progress executive leaders across the Group. Through working directly with Board members and top management teams, he developed a multidimensional appreciation of the competing commitments in the Boardroom and C-suite.
Clients value David for his capacity to engage with their present and strategic issues and dilemmas. He helps them identify the gifts in their leadership crucibles; obstacles are seen as a challenge to surfacing assumptions.
